The Hartford Appoints Jeffery Hawkins as Chief Data, AI and Operations Officer

(US and Canada) U.S.–based investment and insurance company The Hartford has named Jeffery Hawkins as Chief Data, AI and Operations Officer, expanding his responsibilities to include leadership of the company’s Operations function in addition to overseeing data, analytics, and artificial intelligence initiatives. He will report directly to Chairman and CEO Christopher Swift.

Hawkins has more than 25 years of experience in technology leadership. Before joining The Hartford, he served as Chief Information Officer at CVS Health, where he led a technology transformation. He also held multiple senior leadership roles over a 20-year tenure at Humana, focusing on digital transformation and personalized customer experience initiatives.

This appointment is part of The Hartford’s updated Technology and Operations structure, which aims to further align strategic technology priorities with enterprise operations.
