Artem Lavrinovich, QSIC Chief Data and AI Officer
(APAC) Global in-store audio platform QSIC has appointed Artem Lavrinovich as its Chief Data and AI Officer. Lavrinovich will lead the company’s global data and AI strategy, with a focus on delivering intelligent, personalized, and measurable in-store experiences.
Lavrinovich brings deep expertise in retail media, data science, and customer engagement. Prior to joining QSIC, he held leadership positions at CoolerX and its spin-off venture RPM Labs, where he helped develop advanced retail media capabilities. His earlier experience includes serving in strategy and data science roles at Amazon and dunnhumby. At dunnhumby, he contributed to pricing, promotions, assortment, and marketing strategies for major retailers such as Kroger, Best Buy, and Macy’s.
Commenting on his appointment, Lavrinovich said, “QSIC is tackling two of in-store retail media’s biggest pain points—measurability and friction—while simultaneously elevating the shopper experience through audio. Audio has tremendous potential for in-store retail media that is still largely untapped, and when you pair it with AI, the impact goes next level. Retailers can create more engaging, personalized and helpful interactions. The opportunity to join a team at the forefront of innovation drew me here, and we’re just getting started with what’s possible.”
Lavrinovich’s appointment follows a period of significant momentum for QSIC, including a $25 million funding round, major industry awards, and an expanded partnership with 7-Eleven. His leadership is expected to play a key role as QSIC continues to evolve its AI capabilities and scale globally.
