(US and Canada) Former Department of Defense(DoD) Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Officer Radha Iyengar Plumb has taken on the role of Vice President of AI‑First Transformation at IBM.

As mentioned on her LinkedIn profile, she will be “working across IBM’s technology, consulting, operations and corporate divisions to embed AI, automation and hybrid cloud capabilities throughout the global organization and with key clients and partners.”

Plumb was appointed as CDAO by DoD on April 8th 2024. She replaced Craig Martell, who was appointed the department’s first CDAO.
