Saloni Sharma, Deutsche Bank Head of Data Strategy & Governance

(EMEA) Deutsche Bank has appointed Saloni Sharma as Head of Data Strategy and Governance within its Chief Data Office. Based in London, Sharma is responsible for leading data strategy, policy, risk, and controls. Her work includes governance, records management, key performance indicators, and regulatory engagement.

Before joining Deutsche Bank, Sharma held senior roles across the financial services and telecommunications sectors. Most recently, she was Head of Governance, Risk & Compliance (Data, AI, Cloud Computing) at BT Group. Prior to that, she served as Managing Director: Chief of Staff, Strategy & Regulatory Transformation Officer at NatWest Markets.

Her earlier roles include Head of Front Office Controls and Conduct Transition at the Royal Bank of Scotland and Business Initiatives Implementation Manager at Credit Suisse.

Sharma brings extensive experience in transformation, data, and risk, with a background spanning frontline operations, risk management and assurance, technology, and governance.
