Abu Dhabi has unveiled the world’s first AutoGov function with the latest version of its digital government platform TAMM, debuting October 13 at GITEX Global 2025. Reportedly, the new feature uses artificial intelligence to automatically manage recurring government and daily-life tasks such as license renewals, utility bill payments, and routine healthcare appointments — all running seamlessly in the background.

The launch marks a major step in Abu Dhabi’s drive to become the world’s first AI-native government, redefining how citizens and residents interact with public services. Users can customize preferences, automate recurring services, and rely on the system to handle them securely and efficiently.

“The launch of TAMM AutoGov is truly transformative, redefining what government means in people’s lives,” said H.E. Ahmed Tamim Hisham Al Kuttab, Chairman of the Department of Government Enablement – Abu Dhabi. “With the world’s first transactional AI public servant, Abu Dhabi is showing the world what anticipatory government looks like.”

AutoGov builds on the TAMM AI Assistant, which already provides proactive, personalized access to more than 1,100 government and private services on a single platform. The latest upgrades introduce new features such as AI Vision and Smart Guide, which offer real-time scanning, voice navigation, and step-by-step guidance to simplify complex processes.
