SCAN Group has appointed Aman Bhandari, Ph.D., as its first Chief AI Officer. Bhandari, a former Senior Advisor at the White House and executive at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, will report to the Chief People and Transformation Officer. His role focuses on fundamentally scaling AI across operations and care delivery to build an organization that can learn and serve its members faster and more effectively.

Wolters Kluwer has appointed Anandh Asokan as Vice President, Head of Data & Analytics for its Financial & Corporate Compliance (FCC) division. Joining from Thrivent Financial, Asokan is tasked with driving data monetization through scalable data products, APIs, and AI-powered insights. His leadership will focus on the intersection of AI and analytics to enhance decision-making and customer value.

UK-based consultancy Ward Williams has brought on Tom Heath as its first Chief Data and AI Officer on an interim basis. Heath, previously the Global Director of Data Science and AI at Arup, will accelerate the safe adoption of AI across the built environment. His appointment is focused on leveraging emerging technologies to add strategic value for teams and clients in architecture, engineering, and construction.

Dentsu ANZ has welcomed Danica Bellchambers as Chief Data & Technology Officer. Joining the ANZ Executive Leadership Team, Bellchambers will unify the network’s data and AI capabilities across Media, Creative, and Experience. She most recently served as Head of AI Product at Nine, where she specialized in translating AI capabilities into measurable commercial value.

Nguyen is a veteran executive with more than 20 years of experience building enterprise AI capabilities in highly regulated industries. Recently named one of the 40 Most Influential Data Leaders in Finance for 2026, she focuses on balancing rapid AI innovation with rigorous enterprise risk controls.

The Department of Health and Social Care and NHS England have appointed Rob Thompson as Chief Digital, Data and Technology Officer. Thompson transitions from the Home Office, where he held the same title for nearly eight years. His leadership will be critical in delivering the government’s 10-year health plan and advancing digital capabilities to improve patient outcomes across the UK.
