Voice-of-the-customer intelligence firm Clootrack has named Uma Raghavan as Chief Data Officer. Raghavan brings over 30 years of experience building web-scale data platforms across retail, e-commerce, and logistics, having held senior engineering leadership roles at Amazon, eBay, Microsoft, and Walmart. She previously served as CEO of Dione, Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the Allen Institute for AI, and CTO of Integris Software (acquired by OneTrust). In her new role, she will lead Clootrack’s data strategy to turn customer intelligence into actionable outcomes.

New York Life has appointed Zhen Zhao as Chief AI Officer. Zhao joins the firm from Chubb, where he served as Senior Vice President and Global Head of AI Platform leading LLMOps, machine learning, and AI governance. With previous AI engineering leadership experience at Barclays and Comcast, Zhao will oversee New York Life’s enterprise AI strategy, platform architecture, and deployment of agentic AI capabilities across the organization.

American Express has named Yan Zhang, Ph.D., as Vice President, Data Science & Analytics within its Finance organization. Zhang transitions from BMO, where she served as Director of Data Science & AI (Applied AI) leading generative AI platform deployments, fraud detection, and financial risk models. At American Express, she will direct model innovation, analytics, and AI-driven transformation to enhance strategic decision-making.

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center has promoted Bhavna Mehta to Vice President and Chief Data Officer, naming her the institution’s inaugural CDO. A member of the CDO Magazine Global Board and Epic CDAIO Advisory Council, Mehta previously served as Assistant Vice President of Enterprise Data and Analytics. In her new role, she will oversee a 100-plus-person organization to advance trusted data governance, responsible AI, and mission-critical analytics capabilities across clinical, research, and operational domains.
