T. Rowe Price has named Prabhakar Bhogaraju Head of AI, Model, and Technology Risk. In the role, Bhogaraju leads a second-line enterprise risk function focused on enabling responsible AI adoption, strengthening model discipline, and advancing technology resilience.

Before taking on the role, Bhogaraju led Technology Strategy and Modernization at T. Rowe Price, helping scale the Office of the CTO, advance technology modernization priorities, and shape the firm’s Cloud Next program.

With experience spanning AI, digital transformation, cloud migration, enterprise architecture, and data management, Bhogaraju has designed, built, and managed several AI systems. His leadership experience also includes Wells Fargo, Fannie Mae, FinLocker, and other technology and financial services organizations, with a focus on translating emerging technology into measurable business value.

Bhogaraju holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and an M.S. from Virginia Tech, where his thesis focused on applications of artificial intelligence for environmental protection. He has also served on industry standards boards and contributed to thought leadership across data, mortgage technology, fintech, and AI governance.
