Saint-Gobain, a French multinational company that manufactures and distributes materials for the construction and industrial markets, has promoted Annica Hagen to Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer (CAIO) and a member of the Group Executive Committee, effective September 1, 2026. In the newly created role, Hagen leads the Group’s AI ambitions in support of its “Lead & Grow” strategic objectives.

Hagen oversees the structuring, prioritization, and scaling of existing local AI initiatives across Saint-Gobain’s countries and businesses.

Hagen joined Saint-Gobain in 2023 and has held leadership roles in Building Distribution in Sweden and as CEO Distribution for the Nordic and Baltic countries. Before joining Saint-Gobain, she held leadership positions in international and Swedish companies.

In a post on LinkedIn, Hagen noted, “My mission, alongside all the teams, will be to help shape and drive our AI ambition across the Group by making sure the many strong initiatives already underway in our countries and businesses get shared, scaled, and turned into real value.”
