ProofID, an identity security specialist providing advisory, implementation, and managed services, has appointed Neil Evans its first Chief AI Officer. The newly created role supports the company’s strategy to expand its AI capabilities and AI-powered identity services.

As Chief AI Officer, Evans joins ProofID’s senior leadership team and will lead the company’s AI strategy, including advancing AI-native delivery capabilities, developing AI-powered service offerings, and driving the cultural and behavioral change needed to embed an AI-native mindset across the business. The role also builds on ProofID’s existing Agentic AI Enablement advisory practice.

Evans brings more than 30 years of technology leadership experience spanning software engineering, product innovation, and executive leadership. Most recently, he served as Cloud & Mobile Engineering Leader at Music Tribe’s Midas Division. Earlier, he was Chief Technology Officer for EMEA at UNICOM Global, where he led emerging technology strategy across artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing, and blockchain.
