Vivian Tan, Kaiser Permanente Chief Data & Analytics Officer
Kaiser Permanente has elevated Vivian Tan to Chief Data & Analytics Officer (CDAO), expanding her leadership role within the organization’s data and analytics function, Tan announced on LinkedIn.
In her expanded role, Tan is responsible for transforming Kaiser Permanente’s rich data assets into data-driven, AI, and automation capabilities that support improved health outcomes, care delivery, and coverage for members and communities.
She will advance the organization’s information, analytics, and insight strategy, delivering enterprise-wide analytics and actionable insights across its value-based health system. Her responsibilities will also include continued international engagement, with emphasis on initiatives connected to the World Economic Forum.
Prior to her new role, Tan held senior leadership responsibilities overseeing enterprise data, analytics, and insights, where she focused on enabling decision-makers with timely, accurate, and actionable insights across the organization.
She has also led strategic information management, enterprise strategy and transformation initiatives, and corporate and business unit planning. Her work has included oversight of key external partnerships and contributions to enterprise-wide efforts such as Kaiser Permanente’s information strategy and the “One KP” experience.
Before joining Kaiser Permanente, Tan held roles in strategic management consulting, public sector policy development in Singapore, and banking.
