We are pleased to announce Jeff Hawkins as the newest member of CDO Magazine’s Global Board. Hawkins serves as Chief Data, AI and Operations Officer at The Hartford, where he is responsible for integrating advanced analytics and artificial intelligence into operations and across the enterprise.

A seasoned technology executive with more than 25 years of experience, Hawkins has led technology modernization and data-driven transformations across the healthcare, pharmacy, retail, and financial services sectors. He joined The Hartford in 2023 as Chief Data Officer, leading enterprise data services and guiding the company’s data strategy with a focus on shifting to a modern data architecture and AI-ready data products across all lines of business.

Prior to joining The Hartford, Hawkins served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at CVS Health. He began his career at Humana, where he spent 22 years in various leadership positions shaping the company’s technology-enabled business strategy. Hawkins holds a bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky University and a master’s degree from the University of Arizona.
