Equitable Advisors has hired Anthony Montufar as Head of Digital and Client Experience, reporting to Chairman David Karr. Montufar will lead the firm’s digital strategy, overseeing advisor tools, client-facing platforms, and integrated workflows to enhance both advisor efficiency and client engagement.

Montufar will direct digital product development, advisor workstation enhancements, vendor partnerships, and client experience design, with a focus on streamlining journeys and expanding AI-enabled digital capabilities that support scalable long-term growth.

He joins Equitable Advisors from Wells Fargo Advisors, where he led advisor platform innovation initiatives, and previously held strategy and digital enablement leadership roles at JPMorgan. He holds a degree in Business and Technology from Stevens Institute of Technology.

Montufar’s appointment builds on recent strategic hires by Equitable Advisors as its Wealth Management business continues to see strong growth momentum, including a 20% increase in assets under administration, $8.4 billion in advisory net flows — a 13% organic growth rate — and an 8% year-over-year increase in advisor productivity as of December 31, 2025.
