Supriya Ahuja, Department of Homeland Security Acting Deputy Chief Information Security Officer
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has named Supriya Ahuja Acting Deputy Chief Information Security Officer.
Ahuja most recently served as Director of Cybersecurity Risk Operations at DHS and previously led the department’s Cybersecurity Risk Reporting and Analysis Branch. She brings nearly two decades of experience in cybersecurity, risk management, compliance, and information security across government and private-sector organizations.
Prior to her recent leadership roles at DHS, Ahuja was Director of Cybersecurity Governance, Risk and Compliance, Vulnerability Management and Training at ATI (Allegheny Technologies Incorporated). Earlier in her career, she held cybersecurity and risk management positions at DHS headquarters and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Ahuja holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee.
