Shalu Chadha is a Global Data & AI Executive with more than 26 years of experience across banking, insurance, consumer goods, and enterprise technology. She most recently served as VP/Head of Data for JAPAC, EMEA, and LATAM at Chubb, reporting to the Global CDO, and previously as CIO and Head of Data, Digital & AI at PepsiCo GBS, leading a 350-person organization and a $33M+ portfolio across 19 countries. As Director of Software Engineering at Microsoft R&D, she built a proto-agentic GenAI copilot — ahead of today's agentic AI frameworks — and holds U.S. Patent US11681721B2 for a real-time Spark data-lineage engine integrated into Microsoft Purview and Fabric. Earlier, as a VP at JPMorgan Chase, she modernized a 26PB banking data estate. She holds a PhD in Computer Science (AI Specialization) and an Executive MBA from IIM Calcutta, and advises senior leaders on agentic AI strategy and governance.
