Ameet Shetty is an accomplished technology, data, and analytics executive who has held leadership roles as CIO, CDO, CDAO, and CTO across some of the world's leading organizations. He currently serves as Enterprise Chief Information Officer at RaceTrac, where he leads enterprise technology strategy, modernization, data and analytics, cybersecurity, and AI initiatives across a portfolio that includes RaceTrac, RaceWay, Potbelly Sandwich Shops, and Gulf Oil.
In his first months as CIO, he launched major efficiency and AI programs and led technology integration efforts following RaceTrac’s acquisition of Potbelly Corporation.
Before joining RaceTrac, Shetty was Chief Data Officer for Equifax’s U.S. Information Solutions business, where he drove enterprise data strategy, governance, and product innovation supporting more than $2 billion in annual revenue. Earlier, he served as Chief Data Officer and Energy CIO at Pilot Company, leading large-scale technology modernization and building data science capabilities that generated significant business growth.
He also established McDonald’s global Data and Analytics function, leveraging AI and advanced analytics to improve revenue and operational performance.
Over a career spanning more than two decades, including senior leadership roles at SunTrust Bank, Shetty has earned recognition as an industry innovator and influential technology leader. He serves on several corporate and academic boards and is a passionate supporter of the University of Georgia.
