Caitlin Halferty | Chief Data & Analytics Officer, Thomson Reuters

Caitlin Halferty joined Thomson Reuters in April 2025 as Head of Data and Analytics. She is responsible for scaling TR’s modern data platform and marketplace, expanding trusted data products, and operationalizing AI with clear business impact — improving decision-making, customer experience, and efficiency across the enterprise. Her key focus areas include driving go-to-market agility, modernizing commercial systems, and leading Responsible AI enablement. She previously served as Global Chief Data Officer at Ericsson and as a founding member of IBM’s first global chief data office. At IBM, Halferty launched the Artificial Intelligence Accelerator, scaling an initial 25 AI products and solutions to generate $350M+ in the first three years. In parallel, she built one of the industry’s longest-running C-suite communities for data, analytics, AI, and technology leaders, growing to 1,300+ members strong globally. Halferty holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Statistics from Georgetown University and has a background in data science and business transformation.
