The United Arab Emirates has launched an AI-powered judicial platform described as the world’s first fully integrated judicial system of its kind, according to GulfNews. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, said the launch adds a new global achievement to the country’s record of accomplishments.

“A new global achievement is added to the UAE’s record of accomplishments. The launch of the world’s first fully integrated AI-powered judicial platform reflects our firm belief that innovation is the path to a more efficient and faster justice system while further reinforcing the UAE’s position as a global model for advancing government and judicial excellence,” Sheikh Mansour said in a post on X.

From Digital Government to AI-Enabled Justice

The platform marks a shift from digital government services to AI-enabled justice. It is designed to enhance judicial efficiency, accelerate litigation procedures, improve legal research, and support informed decision-making, while keeping final judgments exclusively in the hands of judges under full human oversight.

Officials emphasized that the platform is not intended to replace judges. Instead, it will function as an advanced legal assistant capable of analyzing case files, reviewing legislation, searching judicial precedents, and generating analytical insights for judges and legal professionals.

What the Platform Offers

The AI-powered judicial platform is designed to support multiple stages of judicial proceedings. Its capabilities include automated analysis of case files and legal documents, instant access to legislation and regulatory frameworks, rapid retrieval and comparison of judicial precedents, AI-assisted legal recommendations and analytical reports, and support in drafting legal memoranda and judicial documents.

The platform is also expected to help shorten litigation timelines, improve case processing, support consistency in the application of legal principles, and strengthen decision-making without compromising judicial autonomy.

GulfNews reported that the initiative is considered a global first because it brings together multiple AI-powered legal functions within a single judicial ecosystem, rather than relying on isolated digital tools.
