S&P Global has announced a strategic collaboration with Cohere to integrate its financial intelligence and market data into Cohere’s enterprise AI platform, North, enabling organizations to build more reliable AI and agentic workflows using verified, citation-backed information.
The partnership will allow customers to access S&P Global’s data directly within North while running sensitive workloads on-premises. Organizations will also be able to combine S&P Global’s financial datasets with their own enterprise data to generate faster and more accurate responses to complex business questions.
The move aligns with S&P Global’s broader strategy of making its data available across the AI platforms customers already use, helping enterprises incorporate trusted intelligence into AI-driven decision-making and automation processes.
The companies said the collaboration is designed to support regulated industries that require secure AI deployments and reliable access to proprietary and market data.
The integration is expected to help enterprises accelerate research, improve answer accuracy, and deploy AI systems grounded in trusted financial data while maintaining control over sensitive information.
