CVS Health has announced the launch of Health100, a new health technology platform designed to connect consumers with healthcare services across providers, pharmacies, insurers, and digital health tools through artificial intelligence.
The platform will be delivered through a newly created CVS Health subsidiary, Health100, and is being developed in partnership with Google Cloud. CVS said the initiative aims to create a unified digital experience that helps individuals manage their healthcare more easily and stay engaged in their treatment and wellness plans.
Health100 will incorporate built-in agentic AI to provide an always-on digital health companion capable of offering real-time support across multiple channels. The system is intended to help users track health goals, access care more quickly, understand medical costs, and reduce out-of-pocket spending while simplifying complex healthcare processes.
“Consumer engagement in their own health and care is the holy grail that will drive trust and much better health outcomes,” said Tilak Mandadi, Executive Vice President, Ventures and Chief Experience and Technology Officer at CVS Health. “We are putting the consumer at the center to enable their health care partners to seamlessly connect with them as part of a fully integrated experience. Google Cloud and AI technologies are core to this platform, which is grounded in responsible AI principles.”
The platform will run on Google Cloud’s infrastructure and use technologies including Gemini AI models, Cloud Healthcare API and BigQuery to connect data from across the healthcare ecosystem. CVS said the system is designed to integrate clinical and administrative workflows from multiple sources, while future versions may incorporate biometric data from wearable devices to enable more proactive health monitoring.
In addition to supporting consumers, the platform will allow healthcare providers and other partners to interact with patients in real time through the system.
“With Health100, CVS Health is delivering the future of agentic, AI-powered health care that enhances human touch and eliminates complexity,” said Thomas Kurian, CEO of Google Cloud. “By applying Google Cloud’s secure infrastructure and Gemini’s multimodal capabilities to the complexities of medicine, CVS Health is creating a personalized and proactive end-to-end health care experience that general purpose AI interfaces and legacy tools cannot match.”
CVS said Health100 will operate on secure infrastructure designed to protect sensitive health data and support regulatory requirements including Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliance. The initial launch of the platform is planned for 2026.
